Dr Michael Gell
Managing Director

Michael has over 30 years business, commercial and industrial experience covering energy, environment, and advanced technologies.  His career started with British Gas R&D spending nearly a decade on research into energy technologies, air pollution and low-energy buildings.  He subsequently worked with various other blue-chip companies on advanced technologies and industrial processes and in 1995 set up an independent consultancy & research business focusing on risk management, resource efficiency and green business.  In 2001 he predicted the current dramatic transition to the green economy.  Work in recent years has focused on ecodesign and optimisation strategies for emissions reduction and resource conservation.  Michael has managed projects and programmes across the Americas, Europe and the Far East.  He acts as an advisor to various public bodies and commercial and not-for-profit organisations in the energy and environmental sectors.
